As an Energy & Sustainability Manager, you will have the responsibility to shape our future business by partnering with customers to deliver value through OpenBlue, our AI-enabled smart building software suite. You will drive successful outcomes for customers and act as a key consultant throughout the entire customer lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
Responsible for end-to-end delivery of customer value for OpenBlue solutions including:
- Customer Onboarding: Participate in kick-off and deployment milestone calls, understand customer personas and goals, train end users on value frameworks, validate scope completion, and provide guided product tours.
- Adoption: Become a trusted advisor by helping customers understand and use the product to achieve business outcomes, monitor product usage analytics, and establish regular check-ins.
- Advocacy: Build trust and transparency by reviewing open issues, providing initial support and training, monitoring customer health, conducting Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys, and participating in Customer Business Reviews.
- Retention and Growth: Ensure customers meet their definition of success, identify additional value opportunities, and drive new business growth through favorable customer references.

Requirements

Experience
- Minimum 5+ years recent experience in HVAC systems, building automation systems, energy management solutions, facility management, or building maintenance services
- Hands-on experience with installation, deployment, or use of Operational Technologies (OT) in medium to large facilities
- Experience delivering user training, product demonstrations, and addressing operational questions
- Strong track record in customer relationship management with enterprise customers, supported by references
- Demonstrated project management skills managing multiple customers and detailed action plans
- Proven ability to lead within a matrix organization and coordinate resources effectively
- Experience driving process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with customers and partners at all levels
- Self-directed learner who consistently builds new skills and expertise in a fast-changing environment
- Comfortable working in a start-up environment within a large company
- Highly organized with strong interpersonal skills
- Must have work authorization to work for Johnson Controls in the UK

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field required
- Preferred certifications include Certified Energy Manager® (CEM) and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP)
- Experience with smart building software and/or energy management systems is highly desirable
