About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Sustainability Consultant to join our expanding Sustainability Team. In this pivotal role, you will guide clients in achieving their sustainability objectives by leveraging your expertise in energy services compliance, including Part L building regulations, thermal bridging calculations, condensation risk analysis, and TM52/59 modelling. Your responsibilities will include consulting with clients to assess current sustainability practices and develop tailored strategies to meet net zero emissions targets, providing expert guidance on compliance with energy services regulations, conducting comprehensive sustainability audits, and developing roadmaps to improve environmental performance across various operational facets. You will play a key role in helping clients navigate complex regulatory requirements and deliver sustainable solutions that align with their business goals.
Experience
- Proven experience in sustainability consulting with a focus on energy services such as Energy and Sustainability Statements, Overheating analysis, Part L compliance, Condensation Risk Analysis, and Thermal Bridging calculations
- In-depth knowledge of UK energy regulations and standards, including Part L building regulations and related legislation
- Qualified in the use of DesignBuilder
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data to inform sustainability strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all organisational levels
- Project management experience, capable of managing multiple projects and delivering results within deadlines
- Professional certifications such as CIBSE accreditation are desirable
