Course Overview
Do you want to be a Civil Engineer, Construction Project Manager or Architect? If you have not yet achieved the grades needed for our T-Level then this one year course will help you progress to a full-time course at Level 3 or find a Level 3 Apprenticeship if you impress any of the employers we engage with during the year.
The Pearson BTEC Level 1/Level 2 First Extended Certificate includes mandatory and optional specialist units such as Construction Technology, Design Science and Mathematics, Sustainability, Drawing, Tendering and Estimating, Surveying and Civil Engineering.
This qualification is graded from Level 2 PP to Level 2 D*D*. Learners who do not achieve at Level 2 may achieve a grade of Level 1 Pass. Learners whose level of achievement is below Level 1 will receive an Unclassified (U) result.
Duration and Location
This course runs for 36 weeks and is delivered at the Paddington Green Campus.

You will need at least a Grade 3 in both English Language and Mathematics, with a Grade 4 or above in one of these subjects. Additionally, you must have at least three other GCSE passes at Grade 3 or above.
