About the course

Course Overview
This course offers the City and Guilds 6035 qualification and will allow you to build on your knowledge of plumbing and domestic heating, giving you more advanced practical skills and knowledge required by someone aspiring to be a plumber.

Typical tasks of a plumber include:
- Repairing burst pipes
- Replacing faulty taps, washers, valves and fixing mechanical and combustion faults
- Attaching fittings and joining piping by welding, soldering, cementing, fusing etc.
- Installing storage tanks, baths, toilets etc.
- Examining drawings and specifications to determine layouts of systems.

Duration and Location
This is a 1-year course delivered at the Tottenham campus.

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements
You will need GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

Additional Requirements
You will also need stationery, overalls, and safety boots.
