Course Overview
This course combines practical and theory lessons allowing learners to apply their skills and knowledge before assessment. Modules cover photovoltaic systems including their workings, principles, components, design, installation, commissioning, client hand-over, and maintenance including fault finding.
Assessment includes multiple-choice papers, a short-written answer paper, and a practical evaluation.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should have experience installing electrical installations within domestic and/or non-domestic premises and have already achieved an N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures) and a 2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition) qualification if not included in the above qualification.
Stand-alone technical certificates will not be considered.
