A Civil Engineering Technician provides technical support to engineers and other construction professionals in the design, development, construction, commissioning, decommissioning, operation or maintenance of the built environment and infrastructure. Technicians will be required to have a broad skills base to work in areas which include sustainable construction, structural integrity, tunnelling, marine and coastal engineering, waste management, flood management, transportation and power.
This Level 3 apprenticeship is equivalent to 2x A Level passes and typically takes 24 months to complete.

Entry Requirements and Suitability
We will undertake an assessment and skills scan to ensure this qualification is suitable for you. It is preferable to have English and Maths GCSE Grade 4/C or above.
Expected prior knowledge: Must be working in a civil engineering role and have a contract of employment for at least 30 hours per week.
