Qualification Outcome
On successful completion, you will achieve the NOCN Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management - a recognised, Ofqual-regulated qualification. This qualifies you as a Retrofit Coordinator, able to operate under PAS 2035, oversee retrofit projects (including those requiring TrustMark lodgement), and carry out site inspections as part of the coordination process.
Course Fee: £1,550 + VAT (non-funded). Warm Homes funded: £810 + VAT. IAAF Federation member (Warm Homes funded): £500 + VAT. CITB Levy grant funding may be available.
Entry Requirements
Requirements: Aged 18+; a Level 4 building-related professional qualification (e.g. architecture, surveying, engineering, construction management) OR a Level 3+ NVQ with 5+ years' relevant experience; familiarity with domestic construction techniques, drawings/specifications, Building Regulations and construction H&S
Entry Requirements
This qualification is available only to learners aged 18 or over. You should hold a professional qualification in a building-related subject (such as architecture, surveying, engineering or construction management) at Level 4, or an NVQ at Level 3 or above with a minimum of five years' experience in the management or supervision of construction and domestic construction projects. You will also need to be familiar with domestic construction techniques, able to read construction drawings and specifications, and familiar with Building Regulations and construction health and safety regulations and practice.
This diploma equips you with the specific knowledge and skills required to meet the domestic retrofit standards detailed in PAS 2035. It provides a practical approach to Retrofit Coordination and the confidence to complete tasks on real-world projects.

- Improving the building services – heating, hot water, lighting and power
- Improving the building services – renewable energy systems
- Improving airtightness and ventilation
- Improvement option evaluation and medium-term retrofit plans
- Post-retrofit testing, monitoring and evaluation
- Understanding the requirements for lodgement of measures to TrustMark
Delivered over 15 live online sessions with a dedicated tutor, with a reading list and end-of-module tests. Final assessment is a case study, a professional discussion and a multiple-choice test.
