Specialised - Energy Carbon Energy Efficient Heating Systems Installation and Maintenance

About the course
This course is designed for experienced plasterers and electricians to become competent in the installation and maintenance of the Energy Carbon Energy Efficient Heating Systems.
The Energy Carbon infra-red heating system was developed in partnership with the University of Stuttgart to create an energy efficient, easy to install, and completely safe heating solution. Using industry waste materials, the University engineered a far infra-red heating system that is sustainable, has strong carbon reduction credentials, and produces radiant heat capable of traveling up to three and a half metres.
The technology has gained popularity with homeowners, with over 100,000 linear metres of carbon fleece far infra-red heating installed to date. Testing has shown the system to be extremely efficient and a viable alternative to gas and air source heat pumps.
Energy Carbon heating systems can be installed in ceilings, walls, or floors. The super-thin design allows fitting behind plasterboard (DRYTEC) or within plaster itself (FLEECE). When activated via smartphone or wall-mounted thermostat, the panels radiate heat directly to objects in the room.
Unlike traditional convection heating systems, which heat air that circulates slowly and inefficiently, far infra-red heating warms objects and people directly, releasing additional heat and maintaining a more comfortable and natural room temperature.
