About the Role
The Alpha Professional Services team in EMEA is seeking a qualified individual to manage the environment and data strategy workstream at client level. This client-facing role involves managing end-to-end environment and data strategy programs that onboard new clients onto State Street's industry-leading front-to-back client servicing platform. You will be responsible for managing multi-year programs involving complex business models and workflows across front, middle, and back office operating models in both insourced and outsourced environments. Key responsibilities include managing client programs supporting workflow, data and requirements analysis for current and future state models and architecture, leading the creation and delivery of internal and client-facing documents such as strategy documents, playbooks, architecture documentation, and data insights. The role requires navigating complex client relationships, building strong business partnerships, managing expectations with client stakeholders, leading various stages of the implementation lifecycle, supporting business development and sales efforts through consultative engagement, and providing regular status updates and program management reports. This position demands interaction with senior executive management within State Street and client organizations.

Experience
- 10+ years of financial industry experience across front office functionality as well as middle (IBOR) and back-office systems, services, and data domains
- Proven experience in program management, stakeholder management, client engagement, and expectation management across project lifecycles
- Strong environment strategy and architecture design experience
- Expertise in data mining, ETL platforms, data visualization, reporting, and presentation tools
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally, RTC) preferred
- Exposure to messaging protocols, public/private cloud platforms, and enterprise data management systems (EDMs)
- Experience integrating with industry providers and consulting partners to promote platform interoperability (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, PWC, Bloomberg PORT, Charles River Development, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Factset, Fidessa Minerva, Eze Software)
- Front and middle office platform experience is useful

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Technology background and professional certifications such as CFA or FRM are highly valued
