About the Role
The Alpha Professional Services team in EMEA is seeking a qualified individual to manage the environment and data strategy workstream at the client level. This role requires strong experience in end-to-end environment strategy, architecture and workflow design, data analysis, and business system flows to create and execute environment designs for our industry-leading front-to-back client servicing platform. The successful candidate will manage multi-year programs involving complex business models and flows across front, middle, and back office operating models in both insourced and outsourced environments.

This client-facing role involves managing client programs that support workflow, data, and requirements analysis for current and future state models and architecture. You will lead the creation and delivery of internal and client-facing documents including strategy documents, playbooks, architecture documentation, and data insights. Navigating complex client relationships, building strong business partnerships, and managing stakeholder expectations are key responsibilities. You will also lead various stages of the implementation lifecycle, support business development and sales efforts through consultative client engagement, and provide regular status updates and program management reports.

The team you will join is part of a global, cross-divisional group supporting State Street AlphaSM, the first open platform from a single provider that connects the front, middle, and back office. State Street AlphaSM harmonizes data, technology, and services across trusted providers to help clients better manage their businesses and drive better performance and outcomes throughout the investment lifecycle.

Experience
- 10+ years of financial industry experience across front office functionality, middle office (IBOR), and back-office systems, services, and data domains.
- Proven program management, stakeholder management, client engagement, and expectation management experience across project lifecycles.
- Strong environment strategy and architecture design expertise.
- Experience with data mining, ETL platforms, data visualization, reporting, and presentation tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools such as JIRA, Rally, or RTC preferred.
- Exposure to messaging protocols, public/private cloud platforms, and enterprise data management systems (EDMs).
- Experience integrating with industry providers and consulting partners to promote platform interoperability (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, PWC, Bloomberg PORT, Charles River Development, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Factset, Fidessa Minerva, Eze Software).
- Front and middle office platform experience is advantageous.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
