About the Role
We’re looking for an Analyst to join our team. You will have a genuine passion for making a difference and a desire to work with the business world to achieve that. You will be interested and inquisitive, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Analysts are an integral part of the BRODIE team, working on UK and international client projects. You will be working on a range of strategy, engagement, communications, and operational projects for UK-based and international clients. Key responsibilities would include: Client project delivery (80%), conducting desk-research on sustainability trends and innovations, competency with analysing quantitative data and information, writing briefing papers for clients on key topics, supporting the creation of training and engagement programmes, managing project timelines and workflows, managing agendas and minutes for client meetings, and crunching numbers and datasets, making sense of complex information and hunting down the most salient facts. Business Development (5%) involves supporting the development of project pitches and proposals. Knowledge management and continuous learning (10%) includes sharing research and insights with the wider team, preparing presentations, research materials, and written reports. Organisational Management (5%) supports the operation of projects in line with the BRODIE processes and systems, and attending BRODIE team meetings and training, project updates, and trainings.

Requirements

Experience
The ideal candidate will have the desire to be part of a fast-growing company and have relevant work experience, ideally with knowledge and experience of the sustainability sector.

About you
Demonstrable experience of research, data analysis, information synthesis, and excellent communication skills. Educated to bachelor’s degree level. Good knowledge of issues surrounding environmental and social topics, such as climate change, nature, human rights, and DE&I. Skilled in building trust with colleagues and clients. Understanding of, and keen to collaborate in the challenges and opportunities of working as a team player in a fast-paced, growing company.

Qualifications
Key competencies include time management, exceptional critical thinking skills, a passion for lifelong learning, attention to detail including excellent numerical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication in English. Proactive delivery of great work to agreed timescales, integrity, and trustworthiness are essential.
