About the Role
We are supporting an organisation delivering renewable energy and electrical installations across Suffolk and Cambridgeshire and are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join their team. You will work alongside experienced electricians and gain practical experience across solar PV installations, heat pump systems and general electrical work, while completing your apprenticeship training at a local college. This practical, hands-on apprenticeship offers the opportunity to develop practical electrical skills while building a career in the growing renewable energy and low-carbon sector.

Experience
Some GCSEs or equivalent. Any previous practical, construction, electrical or engineering experience is desirable but not essential. Relevant work experience or work placement is an advantage.

About you
Genuine interest in becoming a qualified electrician. Willingness to learn and develop practical skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reliable and punctual approach to work. Ability to follow instructions and work safely. Commitment to attending college and completing the apprenticeship programme. Interest in renewable energy, solar PV or heat pump technology is desirable.

Qualifications
Some GCSEs or equivalent required. Any relevant electrical or technical qualification is desirable but not essential.
