Salary
£43,308 rising in annual increments to £45,852 per annum inclusive

About the Role
Lambeth Council is seeking an experienced Arboricultural Officer to join its dynamic Tree Services team. The council manages a large stock of trees across the borough’s public realm, ensuring they are maintained in a healthy and safe condition while maximising their environmental and economic benefits. You will support the Tree Services Manager by recording and inspecting trees, preparing work programmes, maintaining accurate records using the Ezytreev database, issuing tree works orders, and overseeing tree planting schemes.

As a front-line representative, you will handle tree-related enquiries and act as a key point of contact for the public and stakeholders. This includes conducting site visits across the borough and beyond, and providing technical advice.

You will join a forward-thinking team comprising climbers, ground staff, tree officers, and the wider Lambeth Landscapes operation. Experience
Substantive knowledge and experience in the arboricultural industry is essential. Previous involvement in managing a large tree stock is required. Experience using IT data systems is necessary.

You hold a clean driving licence and are willing to participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.

Qualifications
You must hold at least a Level 4 qualification in arboriculture. Relevant arboricultural certificates and qualifications are required to meet the standards of this role.
