About the Role

The Assistant Principal will contribute to the strategic and operational management, development, and performance of all College operations within ECBE. This includes delivering high-quality curriculum from Level 1 to Level 6 across Building Services, Construction, and Engineering, overseeing qualifications such as T Levels, BTECs, and other vocational and technical programmes. The role involves managing curriculum delivery at both Paddington Green and the Euston Skills Centre, ensuring excellent teaching, learning, and assessment standards.
Key responsibilities include implementing quality improvement strategies aligned with the Education Inspection Framework, driving continuous improvement through self-assessment and quality initiatives, reviewing and enhancing the Curriculum Delivery Plan, and improving student achievement, attendance, and outcomes. The Assistant Principal will lead and develop a team of staff, including direct line management of Curriculum Managers, and be responsible for staff performance, development needs, and training.

- Strong understanding of curriculum development and delivering high standards of teaching and learning.
- Ability to manage complex projects with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
