About the Role
Join WSP and make your career future ready by becoming an Associate in our acoustics team. You will lead flagship and technically complex projects of national significance and other strategic or advisory assignments. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse sectors including renewable energy, commercial and industrial, residential, sports and leisure, and infrastructure. You will lead by example, placing people and projects at the forefront, mentoring junior staff, contributing to technical advancements, and adopting a client-centric approach. Promoting WSP’s culture, you will take a dynamic and collaborative approach to problem solving and deliver client-focused global best practice with an emphasis on selling value rather than time.
Our acoustics team is one of the largest and most respected in the UK and globally, working on a wide range of projects for private and public sector clients. The team collaborates closely with environmental, sustainability, structural, rail, and mechanical engineering specialists to deliver innovative and commercially balanced solutions. Experience
Proven experience in environmental acoustics with the ability to technically review reports and proposals. Demonstrable leadership on complex projects and strong project management skills.

Enthusiastic and energetic with a social and team-spirited attitude. Excellent technical, presentation, report writing, commercial, health and safety, personal organisation, and communication skills. Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative working environment.
Qualifications
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification. Corporate membership of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA / FIOA) is required.
