About the Role
Shape the future of our cities and environments by joining AtkinsRéalis as an Associate Director in our Environment Practice. You will lead the coordination and delivery of environmental work undertaken by multi-disciplinary teams, including Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), options appraisals, and environmental management. Champion high standards of environmental performance within multidisciplinary engineering projects, influencing project development to deliver optimal environmental outcomes. You will collate and edit information from various sources to produce clear, well-written reports, competently undertake your own work to an excellent standard, and review the work of others on time and within budget. Managing clients' needs professionally and supporting bid preparation and business development for the team will be key responsibilities. This role offers the opportunity to work across key sectors such as Aviation, Cities & Development, Education, Energy, and Transportation, contributing to the transition to a zero-carbon future. Experience
- Degree or Masters in an environmental or science subject, with an established record as a Chartered professional.
- Extensive relevant post-graduate experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Experience working on major infrastructure projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental technical expertise.
- Experience of leadership within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to review the work of others to ensure quality.
- Ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
- Good interpersonal skills and effective communication of issues and ideas.
- Flexibility to work from other AtkinsRéalis or client office locations.
