BEMS Technician Engineer Apprenticeship

About the Role
You will gain hands-on experience across HVAC, controls, energy management, and intelligent building systems. Learn how modern digitally connected buildings operate, develop real engineering skills, and help deliver smart, sustainable solutions that make a real-world difference to building users and the planet. Most of your apprenticeship will be spent working on the job, gaining practical experience.
Key responsibilities include understanding descriptions of operations, validating and testing BEMS equipment, driving building performance and optimisation strategies, checking sensors and controls, assisting with HVAC and electrical systems, diagnosing faults and identifying solutions, electronically updating drawings and documentation, and learning how intelligent building systems are designed, commissioned, and maintained.
Qualifications
Essential:
- GCSE English (grade 5)
- GCSE Maths (grade 5)
Desirable:
- GCSE Science (grade 5)
- A Level Maths (grade B)
- T Level Engineering (grade Merit)
- BTEC Engineering (grade Merit)
Other relevant qualifications and industry experience are welcomed and the apprenticeship can be tailored accordingly.

- Comfortable working within buildings, across multiple sites with diverse stakeholders
