About the Role
The British Library and Camden Libraries are seeking a passionate Camden Green Libraries Coordinator to lead creative community engagement and programming focused on climate action. You will design and deliver sessions in Camden libraries and at The British Library, enabling attendees to develop, learn and share ideas for more sustainable everyday behaviour and the benefits of positive climate change action. You will also document and share learning from these Camden activities for replication across all Green Library Hubs in the UK and more widely through the Library Authorities in the Living Knowledge Network.
The role is fixed term until 31st August 2028 and involves working jointly for Camden Libraries (2.5 days per week) and The British Library in St Pancras (2.5 days per week). This position is part of the National Lottery funded Green Libraries Hub Project, run by CILIP as part of the Green Libraries Campaign.
Experience
Proven experience facilitating creative community workshops and activities with high engagement across diverse user groups.
Demonstrated ability to make workshops accessible and inclusive for all community members.
About you
Passionate about environmental issues and carbon positive action with strong subject knowledge.
Excellent organisational and project management skills to plan and deliver efficient, well-prepared workshops.
Qualifications
