About the Role
Join the Estate Services team at L&Q as a Caretaker based at Acton Gardens North West London region. This role is key to our commitment to providing a responsive, customer-focused service for our residents. You will be responsible for maintaining communal areas within blocks and estates, including communal cleaning and grounds maintenance. You will carry out small maintenance repairs as required, liaise directly with residents and contractors, and address queries while maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, and security. Additional Information
The successful candidate will need to apply for or hold a Basic Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) certificate to work within the team.
Experience
Experience in carrying out small repair jobs is desirable. Trade skills, gardening or DIY experience would be an advantage. City & Guilds or Bics qualifications in cleaning are beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
About you
You should be a good communicator, willing to learn new skills, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You must be proactive, self-motivated, and organised in managing your time. A good standard of literacy and IT skills are required as you will use a PC for online courses and assessments (training provided during probation).
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required if you have the right attitude, enthusiasm, and commitment to delivering a first-class service to residents. Training will be provided to support your development.
