About the Role
Are you able to manage a busy caseload, prioritise your workload and work effectively as part of a team? Enfield Council is seeking a confident and experienced Commercial Waste Business Improvement Officer to join their growing service. This role involves engaging and communicating with local businesses about waste management, maximising recycling efforts, and transforming waste behaviours to support London-wide and national recycling targets. You will use your skills in communication, adaptability, attention to detail, organisation, and customer service to negotiate service agreements and pricing structures that meet both client needs and Council objectives. The role offers variety and the opportunity to contribute to environmental improvements across the Borough.

Experience
Experience in sales, ideally within waste contract management and contract terms. Knowledge of the local business landscape and commercial waste regulations is essential. Skilled in negotiating service agreements and pricing structures. Experience working in a customer-focused environment is required.
