About the Role
Can you manage a busy caseload, prioritise your own workload and work effectively as part of a team? Are you a confident and experienced communicator used to dealing with the public and contractors? Enfield Council is looking to recruit a Commercial Waste Business Improvement Officer. This role offers variety and the opportunity to use your skills in communication, adaptability, attention to detail, organisation and customer service. You will be part of a growing service engaging and communicating with local businesses about waste management, maximising their recycling and transforming waste behaviours to support London-wide and national recycling targets. You will work closely with local businesses to negotiate service agreements and pricing structures that meet both client needs and Council objectives. A good knowledge of Microsoft ICT systems including Excel, Word and Outlook is essential. A passion for the environment and experience in a customer-focused environment are key to success in this role.

Experience
Experience in sales, ideally in waste contract management and contract terms. Skilled in negotiating service agreements and pricing structures. Knowledge of the local business landscape and commercial waste regulations. Experience working in a customer-focused environment with excellent interpersonal skills.
