About the Role
Cambridge Zero has an exciting opportunity within our Communications and Engagement Team to support the delivery of our communication and engagement strategy. This role promotes the University of Cambridge's work to solve the climate crisis across a broad range of activities including public engagement, internal and external communications, public affairs, research communications, philanthropic and alumni engagement, student engagement, and media relations. You will help develop content and activities, support the Head of Communications, and assist the team in delivering impactful communications. Cambridge Zero exists to maximise the University's contribution towards a resilient and sustainable world by enabling, integrating, and accelerating climate-related education, research, and innovation. We work collaboratively across the University, Colleges, and related institutions to connect, convene, and engage the wider academic community in climate action.
Experience
- Writing news, social media, or website content
- Using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Acrobat, or similar
- Communicating complex concepts and academic ideas to broad, non-expert audiences

Qualifications
