About the Role
Support Staffordshire, in partnership with The Globe Group and Staffordshire Community Energy (SCE), is recruiting a Community Energy Team Leader for a 12-month fixed term. This exciting role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by helping communities across Staffordshire embrace cleaner, greener energy. You will work closely with SCE on the Energetic Communities project, supporting the creation of Community Energy Plans in six local areas and embedding sustainable solutions at a neighbourhood level. You will also play a key role in developing and delivering new community energy projects. Additionally, you will lead the growth of the new Community Energy Hub, a service providing training, advice, and energy audits to voluntary organisations, volunteers, and the wider community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with passion, initiative, and the ability to bring people together around practical climate action.

Experience
Experience working with community organisations and local networks, ideally with knowledge of community energy or sustainability projects. Strong people skills and the ability to lead and motivate teams.

About you
Passionate about climate action and community development. Self-motivated with initiative and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Good understanding of local organisations and networks across Staffordshire.

Qualifications
Proof of right to work in the UK and two satisfactory references are required. Completion of an Application Form and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Monitoring Form is necessary for consideration.
