About the Role
This role will lead the implementation of Plantlife’s strategic ambitions through management of our nature reserves and support wider conservation land management in other locations by promoting and influencing the organisation’s strategy and goals. You will be responsible for delivering Plantlife’s land-based conservation ambitions across the UK, integrating best practice in land management with the organisation’s wider objectives.

Experience
You are an experienced conservation land management professional with a strong record in the practical and strategic management of UK habitats and nature reserves. Proven botanical conservation experience is essential, alongside skills in budget management, delivery of agri-environment schemes, and stakeholder engagement.

About you
You have the ability to lead staff effectively and deliver Plantlife’s conservation goals. You are knowledgeable in health and safety legislation and compliance. Willingness to travel regularly throughout the UK is required.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications and demonstrable experience in conservation land management are expected to support your expertise in this role.
