About the Role
The Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) project involves the planning, design, and construction of approximately 320km of new strategic, large diameter, clean water interconnector pipelines and associated infrastructure across Anglian Water's region. The SPA Alliance is also responsible for future interconnector pipelines, adding a further 260km of strategic pipelines and infrastructure.
As Construction Environmental Manager, you will support the SPA Environmental Manager and Enabling Team in delivering strategic environmental priorities. You will develop and review Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs) and Environmental Impact Assessments to support current delivery programmes and future SPA developments. Your role includes consulting with regulators and key stakeholders, applying for consents and permits as necessary, and ensuring compliance with CEMP requirements throughout project milestones.
You will work collaboratively across the SPA, enabling and supporting Environmental Advisors in providing advice and guidance to delivery teams. Close liaison with Enabling Leads will ensure environmental support is aligned and consistent, enabling compliant construction activities. This role requires leadership within a delivery-focused culture, fostering an environment where a high-performing team can thrive.
