About the Role
Amentum is seeking a desk- and site-based Consultant with expertise in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) to support project operations across nuclear, environment, energy, and defence sectors. You will contribute to diverse projects including writing scoping reports and environmental statements, supporting Development Consent Order (DCO) projects, and liaising with clients. Key responsibilities include delivering EIAs and DCO projects, producing screening and scoping reports, innovating impact assessment methodologies for terrestrial, marine, coastal, and ecological environments, supporting digital EIA toolkit development, conducting site visits and ecological surveys, and maintaining clear client communication. Experience
- At least one year supporting Environmental Impact Assessments, with marine impact experience considered a distinct advantage.
- Experience supporting environmental statements and planning consents.
- Familiarity with GIS packages and strong data management skills.
- Awareness of air quality management, noise abatement policy/legislation, or dispersion modelling methodologies for terrestrial and/or marine environments is desirable.
