We are seeking suitably qualified Landscape Architects and Landscape Planners with a diverse track record to join the UK Landscape & Urban Design team. We are a passionate and motivated team with offices across the UK. We value integrity and professionalism aligned with creativity and vision. As part of the UK Environment business, the successful candidate will join a diverse, collaborative team and work alongside colleagues across the UK and abroad.
You will be an integral part of a vibrant, ambitious and friendly team, independently managing smaller projects and supporting delivery of specific tasks within larger projects. Your responsibilities will include preparing technical information for landscape infrastructure, development and improvement projects, which may include strategic and feasibility/concept studies; landscape and visual assessment (LVIA) for both linear and site-based projects; townscape and visual assessment (TVIA); preliminary/sketch and detailed design including general arrangement drawings, hard and soft construction detailing, schedules and specifications to support planning applications; tender and construction packages; and construction/post-construction inspections.
You will support the continued development of our relationships with existing and new clients in both public and private sectors, assist in the preparation of bids ranging from small to complex multi-disciplinary projects, and manage and delegate project work to junior team members. This is a client-facing role involving design advice, attending workshops and stakeholder events. You will also join internal multi-disciplinary working groups promoting innovation, excellence and thought leadership.
Experience
- Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent
- Postgraduate diploma or Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent
- Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments
- Experience in the successful delivery of landscape and urban design projects is desirable
- Experience managing landscape design during the construction phase is desirable
- Excellent technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite
