We are seeking a Consultant/Senior Ecologist to lead a variety of projects, support and develop colleagues, build strong client relationships, and contribute to our reputation for high-quality ecological consultancy. This role offers the chance to work on diverse projects and be part of a supportive, growing team.

Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in ecology, including project and line management
- Developing field skills aligned with the CIEEM Competency Framework
- Strong knowledge of key environmental legislation and policy
- Excellent report writing and IT skills, including report review
- Experience building client relationships
- Experience with Ecological Impact Assessments
- Full, clean driving licence
- CIEEM membership at the appropriate level
- GIS and database management skills

Qualifications
- Degree in ecology or a closely related subject (essential)
- Postgraduate qualification in ecology or related subject (desirable)
- Protected species licences (e.g. bats, GCN) (desirable)
- Specialism in ornithology, bats, or other protected species/groups (desirable)
- Recent EPS licence holder (desirable)
- Skills to contribute to habitat creation portfolio (desirable)
- Experience with Environmental Impact Assessment (desirable)
