About the Role
The Nature Friendly Farming Network (NFFN) is a farmer-led organisation dedicated to restoring the balance between farming and nature. As the Scotland Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing nature-friendly farming across Scotland. Your responsibilities will include influencing agricultural policy, supporting farmers in championing sustainable practices, and ensuring that NFFN’s work remains farmer-led, solutions-focused, and collaborative. You will work closely with the Head of Policy and the NFFN’s Scottish Steering Group to shape policy engagement strategies in Holyrood, amplify farmer voices, and build relationships with stakeholders across government, industry, and the wider environmental movement. Additionally, you will lead the delivery of NFFN’s farmer knowledge exchange programme in Scotland, managing and supporting the Scotland Sustainable Farming Officer, and designing events, farm walks, and practical learning opportunities for farmers. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and practical delivery, along with a deep understanding of Scottish agriculture and rural policy.
Experience
Proven experience in agricultural policy and sustainable farming practices.

Passionate about building farmer-led movements for change, with a strong understanding of Scottish agriculture and rural policy. You should be able to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery and be willing to travel for meetings and events.
Qualifications
A full, clean driving licence is essential. While specific qualifications are not listed, a background in agriculture, environmental science, or related fields would be advantageous.
