Salary
£47,391.00 - £49,630.00 per annum including London Weighting Allowance. In exceptional circumstances, a specialist market supplement of up to £5,000 may be available subject to industrial and teaching experience.
About the Role
The Curriculum Manager for Engineering, Construction and the Built Environment (ECBE) will contribute to the operational management, development and performance of all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment across the College’s provision. This role involves implementing the College Group's quality improvement strategies aligned with the current OFSTED framework and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement through self-assessment and other quality initiatives.
The Curriculum Manager will develop strategies to enhance Teaching, Learning and Assessment to ensure an outstanding student experience and will lead the performance management of teaching staff to achieve consistently high outcomes. Based at the City of Westminster College Campus in Paddington Green, the role also includes leading employer engagement and internal quality assurance activities within the curriculum area.

Experience
- Operational leadership and management experience in a Further Education setting
- Supporting staff development in vocational areas and learning and teaching
- Recruitment, induction and guidance of students
- Curriculum planning, design and development
- Leading and managing staff and effective budget management
- Leading or coordinating quality enhancements in curriculum delivery
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications
- Teaching qualification or equivalent
- Level 3 or higher qualification in an engineering or construction related discipline
- Assessor and internal verification qualifications, or equivalent experience in vocational assessing and internal verification
