£47,391.00 - £49,630.00 per annum including London Weighting Allowance. In exceptional circumstances, a specialist market supplement of up to £5,000 may be available subject to industrial and teaching experience.
About the Role
United Colleges Group (UCG) is seeking two ambitious and outstanding Curriculum Managers for the Refrigeration and AC department and the Construction and the Trades department within Engineering, Construction and the Built Environment (ECBE). As a forward-thinking education provider, UCG delivers world-class education and skills to over 11,000 learners annually across London and beyond. The Curriculum Manager will contribute to the operational management, development, and performance of teaching, learning, and assessment across all aspects of provision. This role involves implementing the College Group's quality improvement strategies aligned with the current OFSTED framework and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement through self-assessment and other quality initiatives.
The Curriculum Manager will lead Teaching, Learning and Assessment improvement strategies to ensure an outstanding student experience, manage performance of direct reports, lead employer engagement, and oversee internal quality assurance activities. This position is based at the Willesden Campus and requires strong leadership to support curriculum planning, staff development, and budget management. Experience
- Proven operational leadership and management experience in a Further Education setting
- Experience supporting staff development in vocational areas and learning and teaching
- Experience in recruitment, induction, and guidance of students
- Experience contributing to effective curriculum planning, design, and development
- Experience leading and managing staff and managing budgets
- Experience leading or coordinating quality enhancements in curriculum delivery
