Salary
£47,391.00 - £49,630.00 per annum including London Weighting Allowance. In exceptional circumstances, a specialist market supplement of up to £5,000 may be available subject to industrial and teaching experience.
About the Role
United Colleges Group (UCG) is seeking two ambitious and outstanding Curriculum Managers to join the Engineering, Construction and the Built Environment (ECBE) faculty, specifically within the Refrigeration and AC department and the Construction and the Trades department. UCG is a forward-thinking education provider delivering world-class education and skills to over 11,000 learners annually, including 16-18-year-olds, adults, apprentices, and students with high needs. The Curriculum Manager will contribute to the operational management, development, and performance of teaching, learning, and assessment across all provision areas. They will lead the implementation of the College Group's quality improvement strategies aligned with the current OFSTED framework and foster a culture of continuous improvement through self-assessment and quality initiatives. This role includes leading employer engagement and internal quality assurance activities within their areas.
The Curriculum Manager will be responsible for developing Teaching, Learning and Assessment improvement strategies to ensure an outstanding student experience. They will also manage the performance of direct reports to achieve consistently high outcomes. This is a permanent, full-time position based at the Willesden Campus.
Experience
- Proven operational leadership and management experience in a Further Education setting
- Experience supporting staff development in vocational areas and learning and teaching
- Experience in recruitment, induction, and guidance of students
- Experience contributing to curriculum planning, design, and development
- Experience leading and managing staff and managing budgets effectively
- Experience leading or coordinating quality enhancements in curriculum delivery
