About the Role
Join Thames Reach as a Senior Practitioner within the City Outreach and Mobile Intervention Support Team (MIST). Thames Reach is dedicated to ending homelessness in and around London by working directly with people who are rough sleeping or living in hostels, preventing homelessness, and supporting formerly homeless individuals to rebuild their lives. Our outreach teams operate across London, responding rapidly and flexibly to reach people sleeping rough, assessing their needs, and creating tailored support plans. These plans include obtaining identification, accessing health services, and referrals to specialist agencies, including immigration support.
In this role, you will oversee the delivery of MIST, ensuring clients accommodated after rough sleeping in the City of London receive support to sustain short-term accommodation. You will provide operational management, make sound decisions under pressure, and offer supportive line management to client-facing colleagues to enable them to perform at their best. Working closely with the Lead Manager, you will help maintain team efficiency and strategic relevance, develop strong partnerships with external agencies, and review data from casework to ensure high standards of service delivery.

Experience
- Extensive experience delivering support to adults facing multiple disadvantages.
- Understanding of psychologically informed approaches to homelessness support.
- Proven track record in achieving accommodation outcomes for people who have been homeless, including statutory homelessness solutions.
- Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment managing complex risks.
- Leadership experience, motivating colleagues while ensuring their safety and professional development.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using generic IT systems.

Qualifications
