We partner with organisations to design and deliver behaviour change programmes, create impactful campaigns, build community partnerships, nurture sustainable cultures through employee engagement, and measure sustainability impact with confidence.
We are seeking a motivated Development Manager to join our thriving development team at a pivotal moment of growth. With significant expansion in our Trusts & Foundations income over the past 18 months, this role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our philanthropic partnerships by cultivating new relationships and securing substantial funding from trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies.
Key responsibilities include securing funding for diverse projects aligned with Hubbub’s annual fundraising targets, growing the Trusts fundraising pipeline, collaborating with Project Leads and Directors to craft compelling proposals, identifying networking opportunities, conducting prospect research, stewarding existing funders, maintaining our funder database (Pipedrive), and staying informed on environmental and philanthropic trends.
You will also support income generation from businesses by developing proposals and employee engagement offerings, contribute ideas and coordination for Hubbub events, and assist with other income generation activities as needed.
This role requires attending in-person funder meetings, primarily in and around London.
Experience
- Proven track record securing 5-6 figure grants from Trusts and statutory bodies.
- Excellent bid writing skills with the ability to translate complex projects into persuasive proposals.
- Strong relationship-building skills, both virtual and in-person.
- Experience developing new funder relationships and nurturing existing ones.
- Familiarity with trusts and foundations fundraising processes.
- Experience using CRM systems to track and analyze fundraising pipelines is desirable.
- Fundraising experience from businesses and/or high net worth individuals is a bonus.
