About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Duty Security Manager at a refurbished, high-footfall corporate retail destination in the heart of London's West End. This vibrant site offers a dynamic environment at the centre of the capital's retail and entertainment district. As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of all people and property across public areas and facilities. You will lead by example, delivering high standards of guarding, safety, and customer service to both clients and visitors. This role requires a proactive, professional approach and the ability to manage incidents calmly and effectively in a fast-paced setting. Key responsibilities include deploying and supervising the security team, ensuring adherence to site policies, maintaining discipline and uniform standards, conducting regular patrols, liaising with CIS management and client representatives, auditing site equipment and paperwork, monitoring staff performance, and supporting continuous service improvement. You will also be responsible for maintaining confidentiality, managing training needs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures. Experience
Previous experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor, or Lead Officer in a security environment is required. Proven ability to manage security teams and handle confrontational situations calmly and confidently.

You must have a smart appearance befitting the company and be flexible in your approach to daily duties and additional events. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. Calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations. Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Qualifications
Valid SIA Licence is essential. CCTV and First Aid qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.
