Dorking, Surrey - Juniper Hall, a 17th-century country house set in a peaceful wooded valley at the edge of Box Hill, surrounded by beautiful grounds and easy access to diverse outdoor field sites.
Hours
Permanent full-time contract – average 37.5 hours per week. Weekly hours may vary with busier and quieter periods.

About the Role
Lead with impact, guide a talented education team, and help students connect with nature in this senior role combining management, teaching, and a beautiful setting. You will manage and mentor a passionate team, oversee curriculum delivery, and contribute to the strategic management of the centre alongside the Centre Manager. Your responsibilities include leading and managing the education team through guidance, mentoring, performance management, and professional development; developing, planning, and overseeing high-quality curriculum-linked learning experiences that enhance students’ understanding of nature and the environment; supporting day-to-day centre operations and strategic planning; and participating in hands-on teaching across a variety of science and geography programmes for students of all ages. Experience
At least 5 years of relevant work experience with proven management and team development skills. Confident in producing and preparing teaching resources, activities, and lesson plans that meet curricular requirements.
