EHS Advisor - Health & Wellbeing (Part-time)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor - Health & Wellbeing to join our team on a part-time permanent basis. In this role, you will collaborate with the Global Be Healthy team to manage the development, implementation, standardisation, and maintenance of health programs, procedures, and initiatives across the UKIE. Your focus will be to promote proactive health behaviours and strategies that enable employees to work in ways that minimise health impacts while ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Health Management:
- Manage contracts for outsourced Occupational Health and industrial hygiene services.
- Liaise with Occupational Health to oversee health surveillance programs and support site visits.
- Coordinate with Occupational Health, Human Resources, and EHS teams to support case management and return-to-work processes.
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of local SOPs and risk assessments.
- Lead health data reporting to corporate systems to meet CSRD requirements.
- Participate in Global EHS audits, regulatory visits, and incident investigations.
- Ensure proactive communication with line management and Global EHS to reflect local regulatory requirements.
- Support follow-up and closure of actions from investigations, risk assessments, inspections, and audits.
Be Healthy Coordination:
- Represent UKIE on the Global Be Healthy network.
- Develop the UKIE Be Healthy roadmap and lead the health navigator network.
- Identify training gaps and develop targeted training courses.
- Deliver training across the ROPU.
- Manage voluntary preventative care appointments and vaccination clinics provided by third-party service providers.
Health Culture Improvement:
- Attend EHS committee meetings and assist in managing resulting actions.
- Communicate key learnings from health reporting trends.
- Generate and manage health awareness campaigns and educational prevention programs.
- Promote health KPIs and actively participate in Tier 1 meetings with the wider EHS team.
Finance and Compliance:
- Work with suppliers to obtain accurate and cost-effective quotes.
- Raise orders and approve invoices using company systems.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation and company requirements to ensure compliance.
- Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and industry networking.
- Provide advice to employees to ensure compliance with UK EHS legislation and corporate requirements.
- Act as a role model by consistently promoting EHS principles.
Experience
- Proven track record in a similar EHS advisory role with demonstrable accomplishments.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in EHS management and delivering improvement projects.
- Experience working collaboratively across local, regional, and global teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health, Environmental Health and Safety, or a scientific field.
- National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Management (NEBOSH).
