EHS Advisor - Health & Wellbeing (Part-time)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor - Health & Wellbeing to join our team on a part-time permanent basis. In this role, you will liaise with the Global Be Healthy team and manage the development, implementation, standardisation, and maintenance of health programs, procedures, and initiatives across the UKIE. Your goal will be to promote proactive health behaviours and strategies that enable employees to work in ways that minimise health impacts while ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing contracts for outsourced Occupational Health and industrial hygiene services
- Coordinating health surveillance programs and supporting occupational health site visits
- Collaborating with Occupational Health, Human Resources, and EHS teams on case management and return-to-work processes
- Developing and maintaining local SOPs, risk assessments, and reporting health data to meet corporate requirements
- Participating in Global EHS audits, regulatory visits, and incident investigations
- Representing UKIE on the Global Be Healthy network and leading the health navigator network
- Developing and delivering targeted training courses and health awareness campaigns
- Managing voluntary preventative care appointments and vaccination clinics
- Supporting EHS committee meetings and promoting a positive health culture
- Managing finance-related activities including supplier quotes, purchase orders, and invoice approvals
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
- Acting as a role model by consistently promoting EHS principles
Experience
- Demonstrable record of accomplishment in a similar EHS advisory role
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of EHS management with a track record of delivering improvement projects
- Experience managing contracts and coordinating health surveillance programs
- Proven ability to participate in audits, investigations, and regulatory compliance activities

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health, Environmental Health and Safety, or a scientific field
- National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Management (NEBOSH)
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and corporate EHS requirements
- Commitment to maintaining professional and technical knowledge through ongoing education
