About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual to lead the Environment Services team and play a key role in delivering our ambitions while putting the community at the heart of everything we do. As Environment Services Manager, you will manage contracts in excess of £7 million and be responsible for the effective delivery of waste collection, street cleansing, and grounds maintenance services. This is a high-profile, frontline service role where you will drive environmental improvements by reducing residual waste and increasing recycling rates across the borough. You will lead and develop teams, manage service change, and ensure excellent contract management within a local government setting.
Experience
Substantial experience in waste management, contract management, and service change. Proven ability to lead and develop teams effectively within a complex service environment.

Qualifications
