We are seeking an Environmental DNA (eDNA) Business Development Manager to lead sales and marketing activities within this emerging sector. This exciting revenue-focused role involves identifying and engaging customers, securing commitments, and generating new profitable revenues. You will conduct market research and analysis to uncover new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, develop and implement strategic business development plans, and drive sales efforts to meet or exceed revenue targets. Networking at industry events and collaborating with colleagues across SGS businesses to promote services will be key to your success. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of a new market within a global leader committed to trust and reliability.

Experience
Significant experience in a highly technical B2B environment, ideally with public sector procurement experience. Proven sales focus with a strong drive to identify and secure new business opportunities.

About you
In-depth understanding of the Environmental DNA (eDNA) sector or a similar transferable market sector. Strong interpersonal and networking skills to build long-term client relationships. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global organization. Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the UK and train overseas.

Qualifications
Ecology qualification or similar relevant academic background. Full clean driving licence valid for use in the UK. Ability to train in Europe.
