About the Role
The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern will join Seagate's EHS Team, responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment through compliance with regulatory and company-specific requirements. This is an 11-month placement starting 31st August 2026 and ending 20th August 2027, based at the Springtown site in Derry. You will assist with day-to-day management of environmental, health, and safety issues in a high-tech manufacturing facility and contribute to a broad range of EHS programs including waste management and minimisation projects, EHS management systems (ISO 45001 & 14001), compliance audits, emergency response team and first aider management, and accident/incident investigations.

Experience
Currently undertaking a Bachelor or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Health, Safety Management, General Science, or Engineering. Preference may be given to candidates studying environment or safety disciplines.
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
Excellent communication and team working skills.
