About the Role
Vantage Data Centers is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our Dublin campus, supporting operational data centres and new construction projects. You will collaborate with the regional EMEA EHS team and local operational teams to develop and implement world-class environmental, health, and safety systems that meet both Customer and Vantage standards. This role is pivotal in advancing safety culture, protecting employees, and ensuring compliance with all EHS requirements across multiple sites.

You will work closely with experts in operations, security, construction, logistics, compliance, corporate counsel, and human resources to further Vantage's health and safety program. Partnering with employees and contractors, you will identify and mitigate risks in a fast-paced environment with evolving infrastructure, tools, and processes. Your responsibilities include implementing and monitoring processes related to electrical safety, hazardous energy control, emergency response, working at heights, confined space entry, fire/life safety, ergonomics, spill prevention, risk assessment, and more.

The role requires autonomy and leadership in executing and reporting on all EHS areas, ensuring Vantage remains an industry leader in operational excellence. You will conduct audits, risk assessments, training, incident investigations, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and compliance.

Requirements

Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health & Safety roles, managing risks across multiple sites.
- Demonstrated knowledge of EU-OSHA regulations and standards, as well as familiarity with ANSI, NFPA, DGUV, and BG Bau consensus standards.
- Proven ability to operate beyond compliance-based approaches, collaborating with stakeholders to find practical risk control solutions.
- Experience leading EHS programs in operational and construction environments.

About You
- Self-starter with strong communication and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
- Confident and skilled in driving safety culture and continuous improvement.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Committed to teamwork with a no ego, no arrogance attitude, valuing mutual support and respect.
- Willingness to be on-site 4 to 5 days per week.

Qualifications
- Board of Certified Health and Safety Professionals (BCSP), NEBOSH Diploma, Occupational Health certification, or equivalent nationally/internationally recognized EHS qualification.
- Membership in a recognized Health & Safety organization (e.g., IOSH), preferably at Graduate or Chartered status.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety management systems, risk assessments, industrial hygiene, emergency planning, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience conducting audits, training, incident investigations, and reporting.
- Ability to develop and implement EHS standards, policies, and training programs.

Vantage Data Centers is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We encourage applications from candidates who connect with our mission and values even if they do not meet every requirement.
