About the Role
Do you take pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming? Love working outdoors and being part of a team that makes a real impact in the community? Then this could be the perfect role for you.
As an Environmental Operative, you’ll be out and about across our estates—litter picking, removing graffiti, clearing bulk waste, and carrying out light grounds maintenance like weeding and pruning. You’ll be the friendly face residents see every day, helping to create cleaner, greener spaces they’re proud to call home.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. Whether it’s tidying up communal areas or responding to resident feedback, you’ll be making a real difference.
Key duties include:
- Keeping estates clean and safe through litter picking, graffiti removal, and bulk waste clearance
- Carrying out light grounds maintenance including weeding, pruning, and tidying green spaces
- Using hand tools and powered equipment confidently and safely
- Working as part of a supportive team delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service
- Using mobile devices and platforms like Outlook 365 and Fix My Street to stay connected and responsive
