About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the ESG Business Management team at J.P. Morgan, focusing on regulatory compliance and the practical implementation of ESG/Sustainability-related regulatory requirements and expectations. The successful candidate will lead a structured program to ensure delivery of regulatory obligations related to ESG/Sustainability regulations and external disclosures. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will align your work with the firm's business strategy and risk management framework, collaborating effectively with key stakeholders across the organization.

This role offers an outstanding opportunity to gain exposure to a wide array of business areas, multiple asset classes across various geographies, and to develop expertise as an ESG/Sustainability subject matter specialist within a dynamic regulatory and legislative environment. You will be responsible for driving strategy, managing dependencies, and delivering complex regulatory implementation programs while providing leadership across dedicated workstreams.

Key responsibilities include functioning as a subject matter expert on ESG/Sustainability regulatory demands across J.P. Morgan legal entities, overseeing project delivery for assigned regulatory programs, developing training and awareness for stakeholders on upcoming regulations, and ensuring compliance with evolving ESG/Sustainability legislation.

Requirements

Experience
- Practical experience with ESG/Sustainability-related regulations and supervisory expectations globally, including EU, UK, EMEA, and other regions
- Expertise in sustainability reporting and disclosures such as CSRD/ESRS, ISSB, UK Climate disclosures, SFDR, ESG Pillar 3, and others
- Proven ability to interpret and distil complex regulatory requirements into actionable implementation tasks
- Experience managing complex, fast-paced, multi-faceted projects with flexibility to meet changing priorities
- Robust understanding of Commercial and Investment Bank products, services, and decision-making processes
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative analysis skills with ability to draft high-impact presentations and documentation
- Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential
- Ability to convey information clearly and succinctly, both written and verbally
- Strong initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, and excellent time and people management skills

Qualifications
- Preferred skills include experience with Alteryx and Tableau
- Relevant educational background or equivalent professional experience in ESG, sustainability, compliance, or related fields is advantageous
