We are seeking an experienced Environmental & Sustainability Manager to join our Rail business and play a pivotal role in driving environmental excellence strategy and sustainable practices across our Rail Systems portfolio of operations. As an Environmental & Sustainability Manager you will lead the implementation of environmental and sustainability strategies across a diverse rail portfolio, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, and client requirements. You will work closely with project teams, clients, regulators, and stakeholders to embed best practice, identify opportunities for carbon reduction, resource efficiency, and environmental enhancements. You will champion innovation in sustainability, supporting Balfour Beatty's Net Zero ambitions.

Experience
Strong experience in environmental and sustainability management within construction or infrastructure, preferably rail. Proven ability to lead and implement environmental strategies and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.

Qualifications
Relevant degree or professional qualification desirable, such as IEMA, CEnv, or equivalent.
