$23.00 per hour with a $1,500 sign-on bonus

About the Role
Clean Earth is a leading provider of environmental services across the United States, specializing in remediation, disposal, recycling, and beneficial reuse of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, contaminated soil, and dredged material. As an Environmental Technician, you will play a vital role in consolidating, treating, storing, packing, transporting, and disposing of hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations and company policies. Your responsibilities will include segregating and packaging materials for transport, maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials, operating forklifts and other mobile equipment, and completing accurate documentation. This position requires a hands-on approach and commitment to safety, contributing to Clean Earth's mission of reducing landfill waste through responsible recycling and reuse.

Requirements

Experience
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.

About you
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds throughout the workday.
- Ability to stand and walk over uneven surfaces for extended periods.
- Visual acuity to read labels and documentation and depth perception to safely operate forklifts.
- Ability to hear vehicle warning chimes and alarms.
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled environments.
- Willingness and ability to wear company-issued personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.
- Ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to predictably and regularly attend work during scheduled hours.
- Must be willing and able to occasionally work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills to complete web-based training.
- Ability to understand and respond to written and verbal English.
