About the Role
At the John Lewis Partnership, we aim to be one of the UK's most purpose-led and sustainable businesses. This role involves leading select initiatives, managing data, developing policies and guidance, and supporting reporting and assurance processes to advance our climate change agenda. You will engage with key internal and external stakeholders to enhance and differentiate the Partnership's position as a market leader in Ethics & Sustainability, ensuring that climate actions have integrity, impact, and resonate with customers and third parties.
Key responsibilities include managing the continuous improvement of the Partnership's carbon footprint calculation, supporting data collection from strategic suppliers, developing approaches to quantify the impact of sustainability initiatives on our carbon footprint, providing technical climate expertise, driving business value through data, and delivering climate-related reporting and assurance such as TCFD, SBTi, and Ethics & Sustainability disclosures.
The role offers flexible hybrid working arrangements to balance personal needs with business requirements.
