Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Hours
Full Time - 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, all year round. Generally based around the school day with after school farm clubs running until around 4:30pm, 3 days a week. Very occasional weekend work may be required.
Salary
Starting salary £27,254 (Grade NJC 6, SCP 9-12)
About the Role
Are you passionate about the outdoors, animals and nature? Can you inspire and demonstrate the benefits of being outdoors to young people and adults? Are you confident and skilled at delivering learning activities? We are seeking an experienced and creative individual to play a key role in developing and delivering Oathall farm’s education work with children and young people. This is a fixed term position for two years (funding dependent). We welcome applications from candidates with the right skills and are happy to explore flexible working hours or patterns to support the right candidate.
Experience
Proven experience in delivering engaging learning activities, preferably in an outdoor or farm education setting.
About you
Passionate about nature, animals and outdoor education. Creative, confident and able to inspire children and young people. Flexible and willing to occasionally work outside standard hours to support after school clubs and occasional weekend events.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or experience in education, outdoor learning, or related fields are desirable. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is essential.
