About the Role
A leading waste management and recycling organisation is seeking a hands-on Fixed Plant Fitter to maintain, repair and improve the fixed plant and mechanical equipment that supports its operations. You will work with machinery including conveyors, shredders, balers and associated plant systems within a busy operational environment. This role is ideal for an experienced mechanical or plant maintenance professional who enjoys fault-finding, reactive repairs and preventative maintenance.

Experience
- Experience as a Plant Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Engineer or similar
- Strong mechanical and industrial equipment knowledge
- Experience with planned and reactive maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with conveyors, shredders, balers or similar equipment advantageous
- Waste, recycling, manufacturing, aggregates, quarrying or heavy industry experience beneficial
