About the Role

As a Geo-Environmental Consultant II, you will be based in our Glasgow or Aberdeen offices, working within our Decommissioning, Restoration and Geosciences practice. This full-time, permanent role involves supporting the delivery and management of contaminated land assessment and remediation projects. You will undertake the NEC Supervisor role to support contaminated land remediation projects under NEC3 and NEC4 contracts, with training provided. Your responsibilities will include managing desk studies, site investigations, risk assessments, remediation options appraisals, remedial design and verification, data review and interpretation, fieldwork management including contractor supervision, and ensuring project health and safety compliance through preparation of HSSE plans and method statements. Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience delivering contaminated land assessment and remediation projects in the UK
- Experience leading contaminated land site investigations
- Ability to write high quality technical reports
- Experience presenting, analysing and interpreting data
- Some project management experience, with NEC contract management experience desirable
- Experience undertaking the Supervisor role on contaminated land remediation projects under NEC3 and NEC4 contracts desirable
- Ability to manage HSSE aspects of site work and lead HSSE culture on projects
- Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and contractors

About you
- Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Geology, Applied Environmental Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Consultancy, Geochemistry), Master's preferred
- Evidence of continuing professional development and working towards Chartership
- Willingness to travel, stay away from home and undertake site-based work
- Commitment to sustainability and innovation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications
- Relevant degree qualification as above
- Working knowledge of Eurocodes, UK and international standards desirable
